There’s truth in the old adage that ‘all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.’ With that in mind, here’s how folk at QikServe work very hard at not being dull! From special effects to mushrooming, and archery to tarot readings, the team have a pretty weird and wonderful mix of special skills.
Dan, President & Founder
Every Halloween, Dan likes to keep the local kids in therapy by flexing his special effects muscles on his kids. This is his daughter as ‘Little Dead Riding Hood’ and his son as ‘Pin Head’ and ‘Zipper Face.’ Pretty impressive stuff but just wrong on so many levels.
Phil ‘The Fixer’ Williams, Customer Support Manager
“Field archery. This shot was at a 40cm target about 50 yards away at an upwards angle of about 30 degrees! I hit it…”
Felicity, Marketing Executive
“I know more about tarot cards, zodiac signs and healing crystals than is probably healthy. I’ve tried to ask my family for a book about Wicca three birthdays in a row, but they have refused to get me it because they don’t think I should be encouraged.”
Irina, Financial Controller
“I am part of the Got Soul Choir family and together we put on awesome shows and have lots of fun! If you are curious about our events check out this video of my favourite song performance https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CfVE3KZzlTg .”
Ruslana, Office Administrator
“We love camping at Loch Tay, north of Trossachs National Park as it’s got spectacular scenes surrounded by mountains and privacy.”
Matt Martin, Marketing Intern
“Here a few photos of me hiking from the past year or so with some friends. The first one was at Arthur’s Seat a few weeks back. The second and third are in the Carolinas and the last one is in California.”
Nicola, Marketing Manager
“I’ve played the piano for almost 30 years now and despite being dragged kicking and screaming to classes when I was younger, I don’t know what I would do without it now! It’s the perfect de-stresser after a long day’s work.”
Luis, Senior Software Engineer
“Some shots of me playing Padel! Padel is a racquet sport that combines the elements of tennis, squash and badminton. Not that popular in UK (yet!), it’s now played by over 10 million players and has become the fastest growing sport in the world.”
