The healthy eating venture currently operates from 12 high street locations across London, Leeds, Liverpool and Manchester.
Its tech investment, which totals £110k, includes the launch of a new app, created in partnership with Qikserve, available for iOS, Android and web, and allowing customers to use a Click and Collect service.
Chop’d has also stumped up for new digital signage, with the aim of making it quicker and easier for people to see daily specials and seasonal food favourites.
Dan Shaw, Managing Director at parent group Inc Retail, says: “Our new app will simplify the ordering and pickup experience by enabling our customers to order and collect, quickly, but more important safely during the pandemic.”
He adds: “Qikserve have been an ideal partner in creating this seamless experience and we’re impressed with their technical experience and infrastructure that underpins our new mobile experience.”
Nick Hucker, Chief Revenue Office at QikServe, comments: “Chop’d is a vibrant brand that anyone who works or lives in London knows and loves; its focus on healthy, locally sourced and sustainable produce is exactly what consumers want in 2021.”
“Returning to offices, we know that employees will be looking for quick, safe and reliable ways to purchase their food, so we’re thrilled to be powering Chop’d’s new digital ordering service.”
“We’re confident that the ability to order and pay ahead will enhance the customer experience, generate fresh customer loyalty and make advocates of regular guests.
