Aria Resorts, the UKs fastest growing holiday company, is preparing to reopen to the public. As part of its investment in the safety and comfort of guests, it will do so with a new offering: digital ordering, powered by QikServe.
Starting at the end of March, visitors on-site will be able to order their food and drink ahead of time from menu.ariafood.co.uk and select a collection slot that suits them. The new service lets guests can enjoy a delicious, restaurant quality meal from the comfort of their accommodation without the hassle of cooking.
For those preferring to stay and enjoy the ambience of Aria Resorts’ restaurants, the company will also be launching an order to table feature. When guests arrive at their tables, they will be able to use the app on their phones to access the menu, choose and pay for their orders – in their own time and without the need to wait for a server to attend to them.
Dan Bliss, Group Head of F&B ,at Aria Resorts comments: “When guests visit our resorts, they’re looking for a break from day-to-day life, never will that be truer than post COVID-19 when many will be going on holiday for the first time in over a year. There should not be any need to cook or washup unless they want there to be – we want them to have the choice. That word – choice – is really key for us when presenting this new offering to customers.
“Part of helping guests relax is making them feel safe on site; QikServe’s ordering platform grants that security, helping them maintain a social distance whether collecting their food, or dining in with us. It also protects our staff, minimising any unnecessary contact and allows us to use our labour costs more effectively to deliver exceptional customer service.”
Already the fifth largest operator in its sector, with 14 resorts across the UK, the launch of its digital ordering service helps it remain competitive, not just with other holiday venues, but with food establishments local to its resorts.
Nick Hucker, Chief Revenue Officer at QikServe, finishes: “We are excited to be powering Aria Resorts new digital ordering service and to play an integral role in helping its resort restaurants to attract customers in after a prolonged period of COVID-19 restrictions.
“In the last year, we’ve seen strong growth for order-to-table and order ahead in the tourism and holiday sector. Moving into Summer 2021 and beyond, digital ordering and payment will become a service that consumers want and indeed, expect, to see from leading providers like Aria Resorts.”
